I took a few photos of the shorebirds and a review of the images indicated a Bonaparte's Gull among the birds. This was a new bird for us for Mexico.
We then went for our regular drive up Flamingo Road. We were not disappointed.
I was also fortunate to obtain a nice photo of a Tricolored Heron:
And another of a Reddish Egret:
A very good day for photography!
We were surprised to see a Northern Cardinal on a branch nearby:
