Kim Dohms (2009-present) Comparative population genetics of corvids. Kim's research uses molecular markers to examine population differences in gray jays, Clark's nutcrackers and Eurasian nutcrackers. website

John Hindley (2008-present) John uses microsatellite markers and behavioural data to study winter flock composition and individual interactions of black-capped chickadees. He is also using microsatellites and mitochondrial DNA to study rangewide population structure in black-capped and mountain chickadees.
MSc
Brendan Graham (2009-present) Brendan is studying patterns of genetic variation in hairy woodpeckers from across North America using mitochondrial and microsatellite markers.

Linda Lait (2009-present) Linda's main research project examines dispersal barriers in boreal chickadees, a species restricted mainly to Canada. She is using molecular markers to examine populations across northern North America.

Paulo Pulgarin-Restrepo (2009-present)
Paulo is studying downy woodpeckers using bioacoustics, molecular data and niche modelling. website
