I am a native of Edmonton, Alberta. I obtained my
B.A. (1963), M.A. (1967), and Ph.D. (1969) from the University of Alberta and came to the University of Lethbridge in 1968.
My areas of interest include general, social,
environmental psychology, sport,
and community psychology, and personality, attitudes,
personality factors in social behaviour, psychological factors
in patriotism, nationalism and regionalism, social and
environmental factors in institutional care of the elderly;
Family Violence Research,
psychology of gender and gender relations,
inter-group and cross-cultural relations, and bilingualism and
language attitudes. Also Macintosh computers.
