Smugglers Cove
Smugglers Cove Provincial Park in Meteghan has some spectacular views, including the natural cave that was used to store illegal rum during Prohibition .   Townsfolk would often deliberately mislead investigators by allowing them to 'overhear' conversations at the barber shop suggesting that smuggling operations were happening further down the coast, thus distracting attention from Smugglers Cove.
