PREREQUISITES: ECON 103 or 200 and ECON 105 or 205; MATH 157 with minimum grade of C–; two 200 division ECON or BUEC courses (excluding BUEC 232); 60 credit hours. Students with A– or better in 103 and 105 can take 301 after 30 credit hours; see Undergraduate Advisor

 

Description:

This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of microeconomic theory at the intermediate level. The objective is to provide a model of the consumer, the producer and the market. The course covers consumer theory, production theory, market structure, and general equilibrium.

Grading:

Two term exams (25% each) and a final exam (50%).
