Linear Programming Enterprise Models
In cooperation with poultry scientists at Agriculture Canada Research Stations at Swift Currrent, Lethbridge
and Agassiz, several linear programming models of chicken and turkey production were developed to assess
the economics of various feeding programs. With the assistance of Drs. Brian Freeze and Robert Hironaka at
the Lethbridge Research Centre, a farm level model was developed to study various feeding programs for dairy
cattle in Alberta.
