Arab militias pushing black Africans out of their lands through the burning of villages, slaughtering of civilians and mass rape of women.

The war on terror, and the Bush administration’s initial focus on Iraq rather than Afghanistan, leading to errors in policy that caused the September 11 attacks.

Sudanese professor believes that the attempt at a Sudanese coup is just smoke and mirrors diverting attention from the peace process. The automobile industry has not seen a revolutionary change in the way cars use energy, whereas technological change in some areas (e.g., computers) has made huge leaps.
