AWARD NOMINATION

The Writers' Guild of Alberta has chosen The American Empire and the
Fourth World as a finalist in the Alberta Book Awards. It is in
competition for theWilfred Eggleston Prize, which goes annually to the
publication chosen as the best work of non-fiction written by an Alberta
author. The awards dinner will take place on the evening of Saturday
April 17 at the Palliser Hotel in Calgary. Tickets for the Gala are
available at the MacNally Robinson Bookstore in Calgary.
