17-19, 2006, the University of Lethbridge Mixed
Curling Club will be hosting their annual bonspiel
at the Coaldale Curling Club. Teams from all
over Alberta will be attending this event including
teams from the University of Calgary and the
University of Alberta, as well as many local
participants. In order for this event to be
a success, we need the help of many local area
businesses.
We would like to extend a
special invitation to you and your company to participate in our bonspiel.
We anticipate approximately 60 curlers will attend the bonspiel.
In
essence, the benefits of participating in this event could be the potential
for all participants to be introduced to your company. We would greatly
appreciate any sort of contribution that you could make to our prize pool,
this donation need not be large, a gift certificate, a CD, a free coffee
and donut coupon, movie passes, etc. The prizes collected will be divided
up and distributed throughout the weekend. The only involvement required
is a donation to the prize pool (make sure your donation is clearly marked
with your store name and address to increase publicity). For those companies
who make significant donations, your company logo will be incorporated
onto the back of the bonspiel t-shirt which all participants will receive.
All sponsors will be acknowledged
in the team packages that will be distributed to each team and on any and
all memorabilia distributed throughout the weekend. A list of all sponsors
will be made available for acknowledgment on this web site. All participants
will also be strongly encouraged to visit our sponsors throughout the weekend
of the event.
In appreciation for your
support, we would also like to extend to you an opportunity to display
a company banner/poster in the curling club for the entire weekend.
All
companies wishing to participate will need
to commit by a date that is yet to be determined
so we can ensure proper planning and promotion.
