ALUMNI CLUB

This is the main directory for all the pages pertaining to the Alumni Club.  With a little luck, lots of people will want lots of pages!  As the interest grows, this is where the most growth will be.  This is the page to bookmark as there will be quite a bit happening here as the spring draws near. Not to mention, if you have things of interest for everyone one else, please drop me a line at    berrdj@uleth.ca.

BRING PHOTOS AND STORY'S.  2002 RIDES TO BE UNVEILED AND DISCUSSED

Original Newsletter - This is the newsletter that went out in September 2000.  It generally outlines the things we wanted to do.  As things progressed, the Alumni Club became a reality.  As things are going now, it is going to become a bigger reality!
Alumni Rides for 2002 These are the ones you can put on your calendar for this coming summer.  These are a go, and are all in the process of being set up.
Explanation and map for the May 2002 long weekend.
Ride Ideas for 2002 -  Well, where should we go?  Here are a few ideas that have come up over numerous cups of coffee.  If other ideas come up over the winter, drop me a line and lets set something up!
Long Distance Riding - People actually asked for information!!  This will deal with getting somewhere far away a quickly as you can, safely.
Projects  - This one could be a bit of a challenge.  There is a page for the different projects going on.  Kevin has started his Millennium Project, (that's an accurate count of the parts, not the year!).  Doug has an ongoing project with his GS 1100, and what is a stock GSXR 1100 but boring!  I might even get around to making my bike and sleeping tent this winter.  Keep watch of this page, it should change quite a bit!
Rides Going -  John Koot is off to Toronto this summer, big trip, and looking for available riders!
I Have My Bike Because - Students who write in with what they like or dislike about the bikes they own.  This could be an eye opener because a lot of these people could be first time owners.  I hope is turns out to  be sort of an "I wanted  the bike because....but this is what it is!"  sort of a thing.  Just because  it's red doesn't mean it is the right bike for you!
Past Alumni Rides - These are the places the Alumni Club has gone in past years, and the people who went. Some rides were better than others, but they all have their highlights and low lights!  This will be used as the compilation of all the MAJOR Alumni rides.  Like for May and September.
Rides Gone -  Being the passed tense, (pun intended) this will now become the ride archives.   With a little bit of luck, some people on some of those rides will do a bit of a story and let the rest of us know all about it.  These stories will help with the enthusiasm and get all of us out riding more!  This would showcase individual trips and holidays.  Please let us know if you went to Calgary or North Carolina.  Inquiring minds like to know!
For Sale  -  There is nothing here but ideas.  Check it out and see if you have any of these goodies in the back yard.
I want to buy  -  Pretty simple too.  As things come up for these categories, the links will be established.  I would like to keep these two pages for the Alumni Riders.  If we can get better used equipment to the rider who is starting out, the better they will feel about riding.  Sort of a self promoting thing.
