These pages will eventually illustrate the many facets of riding in southern Alberta. They will be aimed at the novice, intermediate, and high mileage types of motorcycle enthusiasts.
The pages shown as Doug's Home Page, will have write-ups on extended holiday rides, and a few impressions of the Alberta 2000, and Pronghorn 1600 type of endurance riding. These pages will have tips on preparation, both for the bike and for the rider. There are photo links to accompany many of the trips.
The Canada Safety Council pages will describe the purpose of the motorcycle safety riding course. A schedule of the 2002 class dates is posted, as well as the instructor list from last year. There are photos linked to names and places.
The Alumni Club pages represent the successful riders of the Canada Safety Council motorcycle courses from Lethbridge and area. It is an attempt to bring more riders together that have more in common than just riding. With 238 students having passed the Canada Safety Councils riding test, and, to pass the class 6 license the same night, in the same parking lot, all on the same bikes, makes for quite an initiation!
There will be pages on both previous and up-coming student rides, write-ups on those rides, impressions of motorcycles, what gear works, and probably restaurant reviews for southern Alberta. 'For Sale' and 'Wanted' pages will appear as supply demands, as well as a notice board for group and individual rides.
Some of these pages you will
want to mark, and make sure that they are checked before the weekend. There may be something you don't want to
miss.
